Founded in September 2023 by husband-and-wife team Miles and Tarah McNeill, CGR was built on a simple belief: restoration should be done with integrity, clear communication, and genuine care for people.

We believe restoration should be done with integrity, clear communication, and genuine care for people. Not by a franchise — by your neighbors. CGR was built to be the restoration company the 417 actually deserves: locally owned, fully certified, and in it for the long haul.

Miles brings nearly 20 years of hands-on restoration experience and holds the IICRC Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) certification — the highest mold credential in the industry, held by no other restoration company in the 417. Tarah is CGR’s community anchor: the editorial voice behind all CGR content, and the person who rallies the 417 business community around causes that matter.

As a locally owned, family-operated small business, CGR provides the personalized, community-focused service that larger corporations cannot match. Every job is handled with care, clear communication, and a commitment to getting your home or business back to normal as quickly as possible. Miles holds the IICRC MRS certification — an ANAB-accredited, experience-based credential requiring a minimum of 12 months of documented real-world mold remediation experience. You can’t take a class for it. No other restoration company in the 417 holds this certification.

Commitment

Before founding CGR, Miles worked as a claims adjuster for American Family Insurance — giving him a unique perspective on the insurance side of restoration that directly benefits every customer we serve. Nearly 20 years of industry experience. State-licensed for mold assessment and remediation.

Team work

Tarah is the community face of CGR — a well-known Nixa business figure, author of all CGR blog content, and the person behind CGR’s community partnerships. She organized the CGR ‘Fill the Trailer’ food drive benefiting the Least of These food pantry in collaboration with local Nixa businesses, covered by the Springfield Daily Citizen.

Innovation

Tarah brings a background in entrepreneurship and web design to CGR — she built three websites herself. Her 500+ LinkedIn connections across the 417 business community and established local presence make her a powerful voice for CGR and for Southwest Missouri.

Miles holds the Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) certification — ANAB-accredited, experience-based, and held by no other restoration company in the 417. You cannot take a class for it. It requires a minimum of 12 months of documented real-world remediation experience to even apply.

State-Licensed Mold Assessment & Remediation

CGR holds the state license for both mold assessment and mold remediation in Missouri — meaning we can legally assess the damage and perform the work. Many companies hold only one or the other.
