The IICRC MRS is the highest mold remediation credential in the industry. Here's what it means for you.

When you hire someone to remediate mold in your home, you’re trusting them with your family’s health. The credentials your contractor holds matter — but most homeowners don’t know what to look for.
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is the leading standard-setting body for the restoration and cleaning industry, recognized by insurance companies and professionals nationwide as the benchmark for professional competence.
The Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) is the IICRC’s advanced, ANAB-accredited certification. Unlike most certifications which are course and exam based, the MRS requires a minimum of 12 months of documented hands-on mold remediation work. There is no shortcut.
Mold remediation done wrong can spread spores to unaffected areas. An MRS-certified professional understands containment protocols, proper removal techniques, air filtration, and post-remediation verification testing.
Miles McNeill holds the IICRC MRS certification — the only MRS-certified restoration professional in the entire 417 area. Call (417) 300-5062.
